National Institute of Justice Releases Findings of Defending Childhood Evaluation

DefendingChildhoodLogo The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) has released "An Outcome Evaluation of the Defending Childhood Demonstration Program." This report highlights process evaluation findings from six of the eight sites participating in the Defending Childhood Demonstration Program, a national initiative of the Department of Justice and OJJDP to address children's exposure to violence. The report presents findings from surveys and data that researchers collected regarding the impact of training and community awareness campaigns on children's exposure to violence within each site.
