On May 23, 2016, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET, OJJDP, in collaboration with the Department of Justice’s Office of Civil Rights and Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office), the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, will present Helping Educators and Counselors Prevent Bullying of and Discrimination Against our Nation's Muslim Youth.” This webinar will discuss civil rights, bullying and harassment of Muslim youth, basic cultural competence, behavioral health implications of bullying, and available resources.
