Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice To Meet

September 12, 2016


On Thursday, September 29, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET and Friday, September 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will hold its annual meeting in Washington, DC. The agenda will include reports from the FACJJ legislation, expungement and sealing of juvenile court records, research and publications, and LGBT subcommittees. The agenda will also include an update from OJJDP Administrator Robert L. Listenbee, discussion of the proposed regulations, new member orientation, and other committee business.

Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the committee advises the President and Congress on matters related to juvenile justice, evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activities and projects, and advises the OJJDP Administrator on the work of OJJDP.
