November 1, 2016
The National Center for School Engagement is offering “Transforming a Truancy Court to a Problem Solving Court” on February 3, 2017, in Denver, CO. This training will focus on how truancy courts can engage family and community partners in collaboration to solve problems instead of punishing youth. This training is designed for judges, magistrates, school district personnel, and others engaged in helping students and families to improve school attendance and dismiss truancy petitions in conjunction with courts.
