Webinar To Discuss Embracing Youth Activism in Tribal Communities

Native Leaders

On December 15, 2016, from 5 to 6 p.m. ET, OJJDP, in collaboration with United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY), will present the webinar “Embracing Youth Activism.” Many American Indian youth are involved in social justice work and grassroots efforts. During this webinar, participants will hear from youth activists about how and why they became involved in social and cultural movements on such issues as climate change and protecting sacred sites.
