Webinar To Discuss Healing to Wellness Court Funding Opportunities

On December 15, 2016, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. ET, OJJDP and the Bureau of Justice Assistance will host “CTAS FY 2017: Funding Opportunities for Healing to Wellness Courts.” This webinar will provide an overview of Healing to Wellness Court funding opportunities available within the fiscal year 2017 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation. This webinar will focus on purpose areas 3 and 8, which can include funding for adult, family, and juvenile Healing to Wellness Courts. The webinar details the application process, updates from last year, important considerations for drafting a Wellness Court narrative, general grant writing tips, and available technical assistance.

Among the programs highlighted in the report are:

- U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and OJJDP’s Juvenile Reentry Assistance Program

- OJJDP’s Smart on Juvenile Justice reentry legal services fellowship program run by the National Juvenile Defender Center.
