Assistant Attorney General Mason's Blog Cites OJJDP Partnerships Among Reform Successes
January 3, 2017
In her blog post, “The Road to Justice Reform,” Assistant Attorney General Karol V. Mason talks about civil rights and recent criminal and juvenile justice system reforms. Among the programs she points to as successes is OJJDP’s National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention. Assistant Attorney General Mason notes that the Forum is just one example of the U.S. Department of Justice and its Office of Justice Programs agencies (including OJJDP) joining with state, local, and tribal stakeholders and national organizations to reduce the footprint of the criminal and juvenile justice systems.
