OJJDP Supports National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week

January 9, 2017

Drug Alcohol Facts Week

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) are sponsoring—and OJJDP is supporting—National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week from January 23 to January 29, 2017. This weeklong observance will bring together teens and scientific experts through community events nationwide and internationally to discuss facts about drug and alcohol abuse. NIDA will make available free educational resources and tools to help families and youth address the consequences of substance abuse, including drunk driving, drugged driving, and underage drinking. NIDA and NIAAA are part of the National Institutes of Health.
