Webinar To Discuss Updated Juvenile Prosecution Standards and Policy Guidelines

February 9, 2017

On February 23, 2017, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, OJJDP’s National Training and Technical Assistance Center and the National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center will host “Updating the National District Attorneys Association's (NDAA’s) National Juvenile Prosecution Standards and Juvenile Prosecution Policy Positions and Guidelines.” NDAA and the National Juvenile Justice Prosecution Center at Georgetown University, through a grant from OJJDP, have updated NDAA’s National Juvenile Prosecution Standards and corresponding Juvenile Prosecution Policy Positions and Guidelines. This webinar will provide an overview on how to use the information to develop local policy guidelines and recognize juvenile prosecution as a specialized practice. Participants also will learn about alternative strategies to address juvenile justice issues beyond traditional law enforcement.
