Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice To Meet in Chicago

On Thursday, April 27, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, and Friday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will hold its annual meeting in Chicago, IL. The agenda will include reports from the FACJJ legislation, confidentiality of court records, research and publications, and transitioning youth subcommittees. The agenda will also include an update from OJJDP Acting Administrator Eileen M. Garry and other committee business.

Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the committee advises the President and Congress on matters related to juvenile justice, evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activites and projects, and advises the OJJDP Administrator on the work of OJJDP.
