Webinar To Discuss Financial Literacy for Teens

September 14, 2018

On September 20, 2018, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, OJJDP, in collaboration with the Federal Trade Commission, will present “Financial Literacy for Teens.” This webinar will focus on teen financial independence. The webinar will examine the importance of a credit report and discuss how to order, review, and correct them. Presenters will also discuss free resources to help teens prepare to get credit and avoid pitfalls when applying for student loans, buying a car, renting an apartment, or making other financial decisions. Identity theft is a concern to foster youth and will be covered in this webinar. Register and learn more about this webinar.
