OJJDP Statistical Briefing Book Offers New Arrest Data Resources

February 28, 2019

Arrest CharacteristicsOJJDP has added new arrest data resources on its Statistical Briefing Book:

  • The latest Data Snapshot draws on analysis of arrest data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Uniform Crime Reporting Program to compare arrests of older juveniles ages 15 to 17 with arrests of adults ages 18 to 20 and 21 to 24.
  • Customizable arrest tables have been added to the Law Enforcement and Juvenile Crime section. The new tables and charts provide access to national arrest data and support custom annual and trend displays detailed by offense, age, and gender, or by offense, race, and age.

Developed for OJJDP by the National Center for Juvenile Justice, the research division of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, the National Center for Juvenile Justice, the research division of the Statistical Briefing Book offers easy online access to statistics on a variety of juvenile justice topics.
