Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice to Hold Meeting

Today, March 22, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET, the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice (FACJJ) will meet in Washington, DC. The OJJDP Administrator, Caren Harp, will give remarks and lead work group discussions. During this meeting, the Committee will elect a chair and vice-chair.

The FACJJ, established by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act, is supported by OJJDP. Composed of members of state advisory groups on juvenile justice, the committee advises the President and Congress on matters related to juvenile justice, evaluates the progress and accomplishments of juvenile justice activities and projects, and advises the OJJDP Administrator on the work of OJJDP. Register to attend.
