Juvenile Justice Emergency Planning Demonstration Program
This demonstration program will provide resources for state, tribal, local, municipal, and community organizations to develop, strengthen, and implement emergency preparedness plans for juvenile justice facilities. These plans should be based upon the principles outlined in Emergency Planning for Juvenile Justice Residential Facilities and should address the specific needs of children, youth, and families involved in the justice system during an emergency.
Applicants must submit their applications and have received a successful validation message in Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. eastern time (ET) on May 31, 2016.
