Family Drug Court Research and Evaluation Program
The goal of this research and evaluation program is to better understand the overall impact of family drug courts (FDCs) on reducing parental substance abuse (particularly opioid abuse) and improving child welfare, and to better understand the populations served in and practices implemented by the courts. It is expected that the findings will result in more effective policy and practice in the design and implementation of FDCs. The specific objectives will examine the overall problems that FDCs address along with the impact and cost efficiency of FDCs.
All applications are due by 11:59 p.m. eastern time (ET) on June 14, 2018.
