On September 12–15, 2017, representatives from more than 50 U.S. states and territories participated in a series of in-person and webinar-facilitated trainings hosted by OJJDP. OJJDP designed the trainings to support state compliance with the core requirements of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) Act. The week began with a training for new State Advisory Group members, followed by trainings for disproportionate minority contact coordinators and compliance monitors. “OJJDP is committed to strengthening its relationship with states, and we hope this training offered valuable information to support compliance with the requirements of the JJDP Act,” said Acting Administrator Eileen M. Garry. “The Office has a wealth of resources to assist in this effort.”

Our Vision
