New resources have been added to the SBB:

• The latest Juvenile Court Statistics report, a product of the National Juvenile Court Data Archive is now available.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from OJJDP's Census of Juveniles in Residential Placement to document trends and characteristics of youth in residential placement.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from OJJDP's National Juvenile Court Data Archive to document the workload of the nation's juvenile courts.
• Two new FAQs documenting the characteristics and trends in teen dating violence reported by high school students were added to the Juvenile as Victims section.

The following SBB resources have recently been updated:

• Easy Access to State and County Juvenile Court Case Counts has been updated to include data through 2019.
• FAQs about child maltreatment victimization, school crime victimization, trends in violent crime victimization, and violent crime offending by juveniles have been updated through 2019.
• FAQs about self-reported substance use have been updated through 2020.
• Easy Access to Juvenile Court Statistics and FAQs about Juveniles in Court, Juveniles on Probation, Hispanic Youth in the Juvenile Justice System, and Racial and Ethnic Fairness have been updated to include data through 2019.
• Easy Access to the Census of Juveniles in Residential Placement and FAQs about Juveniles in Corrections have been updated to include national data through 2019.
• FAQs describing residential placement rates by race/ethnicity in the Racial and Ethnic Fairness section have been updated to include 2019 data.
• FAQs documenting the jurisdictional age boundaries for juvenile court have been updated to include data for 2019.

Data analysis and dissemination tools available through the Statistical Briefing Book give users quick and easy access to detailed statistics on a variety of juvenile justice topics. These tools allow users to create national, state, and county tables on juvenile populations, arrests, court cases, and custody populations.
