New resources have been added to the SBB:

• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from OJJDP's Juvenile Residential Facility Census to describe changes in where youth are placed and services provided.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on national arrest estimates to document trends in youth arrests through 2020.
• A new Data Snapshot draws on data from the Center for Disease Control's Fatal Injury Reports to document the characteristics and trends of youth victims of suicide and homicide.
• A new visualization feature was added to EZACJRP that presents national trends detailed by age, gender, and race, as well as most serious offense and placement status.
• A new Data Snapshot documenting trends in teen dating violence reported by high school students is now available.
• A new FAQ describing characteristics of case processing differences by gender and race has been added to the Racial and Ethnic Fairness section.

The following SBB resources have recently been updated:

• FAQs describing the living arrangements of children (2022) and children living in poverty (2021) have been updated.
• Easy Access to Juvenile Court Statistics data analysis tool has been updated to include data through 2020.
• FAQs about Juveniles in Court, Juveniles on Probation, delinquency cases involving Hispanic youth, and delinquency case processing by race/ethnicity have been updated to include 2020 data.
• The Juvenile Residential Facility Census Databook has been updated to include data through 2020.
• FAQs about Facility Practices and Services have been updated to include data through 2020.
• FAQs about Juveniles in Adult Jails and Prisons have been updated to include data through 2021.
• FAQs describing the annual number of juvenile arrests, juvenile arrest rates, customizable arrest tables, and age-specific arrest rates found in the Law Enforcement and Juvenile Crime section have been updated to include data through 2020.

Data analysis and dissemination tools available through the Statistical Briefing Book give users quick and easy access to detailed statistics on a variety of juvenile justice topics. These tools allow users to create national, state, and county tables on juvenile populations, arrests, court cases, and custody populations.
