The case rate for liquor law violation offenses declined steadily since 2007.

Note: Rates are cases per 1,000 youth ages 10-upper age of juvenile court jurisdiction.

  • Following an increase between 2005 and 2007, the liquor law violation case rate decreased 79% to its lowest level in 2018 (0.28 cases per 1,000 youth under juvenile court jurisdiction).
