Liquor law violation case rates fell 60% or more for each racial group between 2005 and 2018.

- Since 2005, liquor law violation case rates decreased 86% for cases involving Asian youth, 78% for Hispanic youth, 75% for white youth, and 72% for black youth; by 2018, rates for these groups were at their lowest since at least 2005.
- The liquor law violation case rate for American Indian youth reached a lowpoint in 2015, 67% below the rate in 2005, then increased through 2018.
