- In 2020, Hispanic youth under age 18 were more than twice as likely to live in poverty as white and Asian/Pacific Islander youth.
- More than one-third (37%) of the 11.6 million youth younger than 18 living in poverty in 2020 were Hispanic, while white youth accounted for 30% of all youth in poverty, and black youth accounted for 24%.
