The issue also includes special features on the following topics: an OJJDP report on four listening sessions held with families and youth who had direct experiences with the juvenile justice system; OJJDP’s national training and technical assistance resources; and a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services guidance document encouraging state and tribal governments to integrate trauma-informed screening, assessments of child well-being and functioning, and evidence-based practices into their services to children and families.
