This issue's Message From the Administrator and top story focus on how OJJDP-funded drug treatment courts are empowering youth and families to live drug- and crime-free lives. Between fiscal years 2017 and 2019, OJJDP awarded $50 million to drug court programs nationwide. The newsletter also includes articles on how OJJDP grantees are meeting the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, OJJDP's observance of National Missing Children's Day, and how OJJDP grants helped a juvenile drug treatment court increase its graduation rates and reduce recidivism rates. A Staff Spotlight article highlights Dr. TeNeane Bradford, Associate Administrator in OJJDP's State Relations and Assistance Division. A Youth Voices article presents the perspectives of Miguel Garcia, a policy coordinator at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition who has had experience in the juvenile justice system.
