OJJDP's Data Snapshot series is intended to disseminate current research about youth in the juvenile justice system. Each one-page Snapshot focuses on a specific topic (e.g., juveniles in residential placement, victims of violence) and highlights policy-relevant findings in a visually compelling way.

Service Availability Increased in Juvenile Residential Placement Facilities draws on data from OJJDPís Juvenile Residential Facility Census to highlight changes in facility practices around screening and providing services. (released May 2018)

Characteristics of Delinquency Cases Handled in Juvenile Court in 2015 draws on data from OJJDPís National Juvenile Court Data Archive to document the workload of the nationís juvenile courts. (released May 2018)
