- In 2019, infants and toddlers (ages 0 to 3) accounted for one-third (34%) of victims; the highest proportion of victims were youth under one (15.0%).
- Older youth accounted for the smallest proportion of victims; 17-year-olds were just 2.4% of child maltreatment victims in 2019.
