||About 1 in 7 reported murders of juveniles (ages 0 to 17) in 2019 occurred in just 5 of the Nation's more than 3,000 counties.
- The major cities in these five counties (beginning with the city in the county with the most juvenile homicide victims) are Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Houston. Note that no data were reported for Florida and Alabama.
