- The daily timing of serious violent crimes differed for juvenile and adult victims. Serious violent crimes with juvenile victims peaked between 3 and 4 p.m., fell to a lower level in the early evening hours, and declined substantially after 9 p.m.
- The peak between 9 p.m. and midnight in adult victimizations is found in serious violent crimes as well as simple assaults.
