Provides an overview of OJJDPís Community Prevention Grants program, which funds collaborative, community-based delinquency prevention efforts. The program integrates six fundamental principles: comprehensive and multidisciplinary approaches, research- and evidence-based strategies, community control and decisionmaking, leveraging of existing resources and systems, evaluation to monitor the programís progress and effectiveness, and a long-term perspective.
