Safe Start Promising Approaches (SSPA) is the second phase of an initiative focusing on preventing and reducing the impact of children's exposure to violence. RAND Corporation researchers conducted the national evaluation of SSPA in collaboration with the national evaluation team: the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the Safe Start Center, and the ten program sites.
